This year the National Hydrogen Association will be holding its annual conference in conjunction with the 14th World Hydrogen Energy Conference in Montréal, Canada June 9-13, 2002. Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham has accepted the NHA’s invitation to speak at the conference and his address is scheduled for Monday, June 10 from 9:20am-9:40am. There will be many additional high level speakers from industry and from the Canadian and United States governments including Herb Dhaliwal, Minister Natural Resources Canada, John Wallace, Executive Director of TH!NK Technologies, and Jeroen Van der Veer, Managing Director, Shell.

The conference hotel is the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth located in the heart of the city. The “Queen E” offers easy access to many unique Montréal attractions, such as the world renowned Botanical Garden and Biodome, the Underground, and Mount Royal Park. There are several accommodation options available including Standard room at $185CAN/$205 (single/double), Deluxe at $199CAN/$219 and Premier at $225CAN/$245. These discounted room rates are in effect until May 1, 2002. We urge you to reserve your room early because the Air Canada Grand Prix will be in town, attracting many thousands of spectators.
